Easy Meringues!!

Easy Meringue Recipe:

This is a super easy recipe that I adapted from one given to me in my Kitchen Tea book.

Ingredients:

4 egg whites

1 cup caster sugar

pinch of salt

vanilla essence

peppermint essence

Instructions:

Beat the egg whites with salt, gradually adding sugar while beating. Mix in vanilla and peppermint essence to taste.

Drop teaspoon-loads onto a lined baking tray.

Bake at 110C for approx 1 hour, or until dry to the touch. (If you can pick them up without them tearing, they’re good).
